How and Why
We Make a Difference!
The Midland Park Public
Education Foundation is an all-volunteer
not-for-profit that enhances and supports new
curriculum initiatives and enrichment opportunities
within Midland Park's public school system.
501(C)3 organization
The Midland Park Public
Education exists for one reason only: To raise money
to fund grants that will strengthen our school
system for all our children. By sharing in this
goal, our community serves as a vital partner with
our district administration, Board of Education, and
faculty in providing the tools they need to bring
academic excellence to our children.
ACCESS TO ALL CAMPAIGN
- Phase 1
The Midland Park
Public School District is facing the costly challenge of
keeping up with today’s classroom technologies. In January
2010, the MPPEF Board of Trustees stepped forward to
spearhead the funding of a three-year/three-phase
‘Access to All’ Grant Campaign that would address this need.
‘Access
to All’ Phase 1
At
a cost of $68,000, Phase 1 includes the basic technology
our district needs to maximize learning opportunities in
our schools. The MPPEF plans to fund this district-wide
grant in full during our spring 2010 grant cycle
Funding of Phase 1 will provide computer
access in Godwin and Highland school with three Computer
on Wheels (COWs) units and six additional computers for
the Highland School Media Center. It will also fund the
purchase of state-of-the-art equipment for Midland Park
High School’s television studio and an Elmo projector
for Godwin.
